Maama Man

The play is set in the typical Jamaican ghetto area and portrays the typical stringy “Maama Man”. He conserves on everything in the home; from the toilet tissue to making love to his wife, Roseberry. Verona the tenant finds it very upsetting that she is forbidden to bring her boyfriend, Atwater Grindstone to the home. Verona is continually harrassed by both her clash between Jooky Jam and the trigger-happy policeman is one of the play’s highlights. Bella & Zella the news carriers, are always eavesdropping by Mr. Eviction’s home. They’re a host of funny misfits!!!
